Computer Fundamentals - Learn the basics on how to use the computer: navigate the internet, access e-mail, attach documents, edit basic documents and much more.

Workshop Descriptions:


Introduction to Services – Every week on Mondays in English and every other week on Friday in Spanish. To attend Introduction to Services, customers should pick up and fill out a Membership Application at the front desk, register in CalJOBS, print a copy of the CalJOBS resume, and provide Right to Work verification.

Career Navigation – Every week on Tuesdays by appointment. To attend Career Navigation you must first attend Introduction to Services for referral.

 Job Search Workshop Series - Job Search Assistance workshops are offered every week for customers who are preparing for the challenges of looking for work for the first time, entering the job market in a new field or just want to improve their job search skills.

MONDAY: Resume Writing Part 1  (Morning)

MONDAY: Master Applications   (Afternoon)

TUESDAY: Job Search Planning and Strategies

WEDNESDAY: Interviewing with Confidence Part 1 and 2

THURSDAY: Effective Telephone Skills and Job Shopping List Strategies

FRIDAY: Resume Writing Part 2
